I got to try out Proven Winners’ Amazel Basil last year, and it was pretty incredible! So, here’s one of my favorite basil recipes to serve as your reminder to be on the lookout for it! 🌿🍸😆

5-6 Amazel basil leaves
3 Tablespoons Fresh Lime Juice
2 oz. simple syrup
2 oz. gin (I use Tanqueray No. 10)
Ice
Muddle lime juice and 5 basil leaves. Set aside. Add simply syrup and gin to cocktail shaker, pour in muddled basil-lime juice. Add ice. Shake for 30 seconds. Strain into martini glass. Smack a basil leaf to release its aroma and float in drink. Enjoy!
